Translator’s Notes:

To say that I’ve been obsessed with this drama is putting it lightly! I’ve watched the first few episodes of World of Honor 山河令 over and over and over again and have purchased both the radio drama on 猫耳 and the original web novel on Jinjiang 晋江. I even changed my cellphone lock screen (which previously remained the same for the past 7 years) for this drama. Can’t wait for episodes 22-25 to air in about … LOL 4 hours!

I’ve thought about how to interpret some of the words and how to convey the meaning that I’ve understood from listening to this song and watching the drama. It’s definitely not perfect, and Chinese is a very information-dense language that I’m sure I’ve not done it justice, but I think so far so good, I may sneak back and alter it a bit if I suddenly feel the urge to do so.
